Kevin Pengelly of Pengelly Photography has just had the very great privilege of being invited to photograph his godson Jonathan Adams at a training day in Enfield.

Jonathan is on course to represent Great Britain in the 2012 Para Olympics to be held in London, Jonathan is currently ranked 4th in the world for Discus and 7th in the Shot.

It was a very proud moment for me to watch and photograph Jonathan being put through his paces at a very tough training session.

What a lovely email to open this morning from the MPA to inform me that I have achieved 2 Merit awards in the National Master Photography Awards UK  2010

The Master Photography Awards (MPA formerly BPPA Awards) are the most prestigious awards for photography in the UK and is only open to full time professional photographers.

The MPA celebrate and identify individuals that have achieved outstanding success through their superb images and gives every qualified member the opportunity to compete against other members for the title of UK Master Photographer 2010.

My 2 images will now go into The Hall Of Fame at the Hilton Hotel, Birmingham  in October where I will also  find out if I have won the Classical Wedding Photographer of the year 2010.
