Kevin and Sabrina Pengelly of Pengelly Photography have just returned from a very successful wedding fair at Layer Marney Tower, Colchester, Essex.

Pengelly Photography wedding photographers Suffolk and Essex have just exhibited at the wedding fair at Smeetham Hall Barn, Suffolk.

It was lovely to meet so many lovely couples and we would like to say thank you to everyone that visited our stand to talk to us about their wedding.

We look forward to photographing your weddings in the future.

It has now been 10years we have been exhibiting at this very popular Suffolk wedding venue Smeetham Hall Barn and we would also like to thank Sharon and Lesley for putting on such a good show, here is to the next 10 years!!!

Well the wedding fair season well and truly kicks off this coming Sunday 17th January for Pengelly Photography, wedding photographers Suffolk and Essex.

Pengelly Photography wedding photographers Suffolk and Essex have a busy season ahead with 4 wedding fairs in as many weeks.

The first wedding fair is Sunday 17th January at Smeetham Hall Barn, Bulmer, Suffolk show starts at 11am till 4pm

The following Sunday 24th January Pengelly Photography wedding photographers Suffolk and Essex will be at Layer Marney Tower, Colchester, Essex, show starts at 11am till 4pm.

Our third wedding fair will be at Spains Hall, Finchingfield, Essex on Sunday 31st January show starts at 10.30am till 4.30pm.

Then we will be at the first wedding fair to be held at the new Colchester Utd Football Club, Essex show will run from 11am till 4pm.

We will look forward to meeting with new and exsisting couples to talk about their requirements for their wedding photography, please visit us at our stand where both Sabrina Pengelly LBIPP and Kevin Pengelly ABIPP AMPA wiil be on hand to answer any question you may have regarding your wedding photography.

Pengelly Photography wedding photographers in Suffolk and Essex have just had the pleasure of photographing their last wedding of the year of Sam and Ben who were married at the stunning Peckforton Castle, Peckforton, Cheshire, the only complete Castle in the country.

This stunning venue has been used for fiims and TV such as "Gawain and the Green Knight", Robin Hood, Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Who.

Pengelly Photography are proud to annouce Kevin Pengelly has just been awarded his Associateship with the BIPP, British Insitute Professional Photographers.

Kevin Pengelly is now Associate level with both professional organisations, on Monday Kevins panel was judged by a panel of 6 Fellowship standard photographers who make up the qualification panel.

Those who read our blog might be wondering what is Associate standard, well in Professional Photography there is 3 levels Licentiate, Associate and the highest Fellowship.

Licentiateship (LBIPP&LMPA) This is the first level of qualified membership which assesses a true measure of competence. The candidate will be required to produce a panel of work produced to a standard that can be reasonably expected from a professional image maker.

Associateship (ABIPP&AMPA) is midway between Licentiateship and Fellowship and denotes a high standard of craftsmanship and individual ability. At Associateship level work will demonstrate a refinement of technical skills and creative input, added to the competence of Licentiateship. 

Fellowship (FBIPP&FMPA) is the higest standard qualifications attainable and recognises distinguished individual ability and exceptional standards of excellence. Fellowship requires the candidate to produce a panel of work that demonstrates extremely high levels of techinque and creative ability and to show a uniqueness of style and approach to image making.

Kevin Pengelly is now allowed to have the following letters behind his name, Kevin Pengelly AMPA ABIPP.

I have just returned from Darlington after gaining my Associate with the MPA, this was a submission of 20images judged by the MPA quailfication panel made up of 6 Fellowship judges.

Kevin Pengelly AMPA is only the second photographer in Suffolk to achieve this in wedding photography within the MPA.

Very special thanks go to Kevin Wilson FMPA FBIPP for being my mentor and getting me to such a high standard in wedding photography.

I would also like to thank everyone that has helped me in my journey to gain a very high quailfication.

With Sabrina gaining her Licentiate last December with the BIPP this makes Pengelly Photography one of the highest qualified husband and wife wedding photographers in East Anglia

Both Kevin and Sabrina wedding photographers Suffolk and Essex have just returned from a fantastic all day seminar by Kevin Wilson FMPA FBIPP run by the MPA at Prested Hall, Essex.which was attented by some of the areas top wedding and portrait photographers around Suffolk and Essex

Kevin Wilson FMPA FBIPP is one of the countrys leading wedding photographers and is the first photographer in 100 years to gain his Fellowship with both the MPA and BIPP which is some achievment to gain.

Kevin Pengelly is very fortunate to also have Kevin Wilson FMPA FBIPP as his mentor as Kevin Pengelly is hoping to gain his Assocaite with both the MPA and BIPP this year.

The whole day was a packed day of knowledge and fun with Kevin Wislon FMPA FBIPP talking about how he creates his stunning images, it was a real pleasure for both Kevin and Sabrina to be part of a great day.

Kevin Pengelly would like to thank Kevin WilsonFMPA FBIPP for the time he took to go through his images on what must have been a very tiring day for him.

We would also like to thank our good friend Emma Tamsett who modelled for Kevin throughout the morning demostration.

Pengelly Photography wedding photographer Suffolk and Essex have just had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Joanna and Neil who were married at Layer Marney Tower, Essex.

We were greeted with lovely warm spring sunshine a little windy but better then having it rain, we met Joanna at Marks tey Hotel, essex where we were able to capture some very creative bridal photographs, Joanna was fantastic and we thank her for allowing us to try some new creative photographs.

Neil and the guys were already at Layer Marney Towers, Essex when we arrived and they all looked great in their kilts and really were great fun to photograph.

Once again the whole day was a real joy to photograph with all the guest coming into the group photographs when requested which as we always say helps leave the Bride&Groom to have more time to socialise.

Once all the requested photographs were completed we had time to walk around the lovely Layer Marney Tower, Essex gardens capturing great photographs of Joanna and Neil who really were a pleasure and fun to photograph.

This was our first time at Kersey Mill, Kersey, Suffolk and we have to say a big thank you to Rebecca for inviting Pengelly Photography to exhibit.

Pengelly Photography wedding photographer Suffolk and Essex have just had the pleasure to photograph the wedding of Julie and David who were married at Coggeshall Church and Crabbs Barn, Essex.

We met Julie at her parents home just for some preparation photographs then went onto the church to photograph the guys.

The church looked stunning with lovely weather as well, David and the guys were great fun to photograph and we were able to capture some lovely photographs.

Julie looked lovely when she arrived at the church and we do have to thank Rev Bill for allowing us to get some stunning church photographs.

The whole day once again ran like clockwork and we had plenty of time with Julie and David to explore the lovely Crabbs Barn grounds for their together photographs.

Pengelly Photography wedding and Portrait photographers Suffolk and Essex have just had the great pleasure of photographing Conor who is only 15mths.

Conor has visited our studio before and is always so good to photograph, we photographed his Mum and Dad Sophie and Shaun wedding back in July 3rd 2004 at Little Maplestead Church, Essex then Smeetham Hall Barn. Suffolk/Essex

Conor is part of our "watch your baby grow" plan and the next time we photograph Conor will be a outdoor shoot so we can capture him playing should be great fun.

We met Nicki at the lovely Hotel The Limes, Maldon, where we were able to capture some lovely bridal photographs in the stunning rooms Nicki was great at posing.

Meeting Mark and the guys at Layer Marney Tower, Essex was great fun where again the guys were great at posing for photographs.

The whole day went like clockwork and once again their guests helped us by coming into requested group shots straight away as we have always said the quicker these photographs are completed the guests can go off and enjoy themselves and the bride&groom can have more social time.

We have to say Nicki and Mark really were a great fun couple to photograph and we really did capture some stunning photographs exploring everywhere around the lovely Layer Marney Tower, grounds.

We also have to mention Pauline of Bouquet Garni as Pauline is always so helpful and always a pleasure to work with.

Pengelly Photography wedding photographers Suffolk and Essex have just had the pleasure of photographing Jane, Matthew and Coco ( family dog) for their pre wedding shoot.

We took Jane and Matthew who are getting married in May at Spains Hall, Finchingfield, Essex along to the old railway line that used to run from Sudbury to Cambridge to capture their pre weddingphotographers.

The weather was lovely and we had a lovely walk along the track allowing us to capture some great photographs, not only of Jane and Matthew but also their lovely chocolate brown Labrador Coco.

We even had time to drive up to a lovely place called Arger Fen where all the Bluebelles where out so some more photographers were captured there.

Last Friday Pengelly Photography Wedding/Portrait photographer Suffolk and Essex photographed Morwenna at our Sudbury, Suffolk Studio.

Morwenna has just been accepted into the Navy and Nicky and David Pengelly who we photographed last year for their blessing wanted some portriats to record the happy event.

We are also photographing their sons Shaun wedding this year at Kersey Mill, Kersey, Suffolk.

Both Kevin and Sabrina wedding/portrait photographers Suffolk and Essex would like to wish Morwenna good luck in her new career.

Pengelly Photography wedding photography Suffolk and Essex have just had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Lynne and Daniel who were married at St Peter's Church, Ipswich, Suffolk and then onto the lovely wedding venue Haughley Park Barn, Suffolk.

The whole day was a joy to photograph from the moment we arrived for the home visit as everything was so well arranged, we have to say the hairdressers and make up artist were fantastic and had Lynne and her bridesmaids ready early.

Lynne looked stunning and although it was a little windy a the home visit we were still able to capture some stunning photographs.

When we arrived at St Peter's Church Daniel and the guys were waiting for us this always helps as we then have plenty of time to get great photographs, Daniel and the guys were great fun to photograph and once again captured some good photographs.

The rest of the day really was great fun Lynne and Daniel really were easy to photograph and we had plenty of time not only before the meal but also after as now the evenings are getting longer.

Both Kevin and Sabrina would like to wish Lynne and Daniel a very happy married life together and would like to thank them for allowing Pengelly Photography wedding photographers Suffolk and Essex to capture their special day.

Wow, we have just looked at our photos they are incredible. We cannot thank you enough for the amazing memories you both were fantastic on the day so passionate about your job and so professional and lovely with it.
It couldnt have been easy for you specially with little Sam desperately avoiding you both and you so perseverd with him and got some fab shots whilst he had no idea! and Mae who was a bit stressed but the pictures of her with me in the room and also her with her Dad blew us away.
The only problem we have now is choosing which ones to pick! (you said that though didnt you!).
Anyway thank you both so much we would recomend you to everyone and are eternally grateful for our amazing photos.

Emma is training to be a dancer and is doing very well, one of the things Emma had to do was put together a portfolio so we got together and came up with a few ideas.

One of the ideas was 50's style look so we contacted The Chapel Railway Museum who very kindly agreed to allow us to use their museum for our photoshoot.

We had a great day and as always Emma was a great model to photograph.

The session was completed by a visit to our Sudbury Studio where we photographed some Hollywood style photographs, some of the photographs taken can be seen here and also on our sample gallery.

Pengelly Photography wedding photographers Suffolk and Essex had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Louise and Paul who where married at The United Reformed Church, Clare , Suffolk then onto Smeetham Hall Barn, Essex.

We met louise at her parents house and we have to say a special thank you to Louise's Mum and Dad for making us feel so welcome in their home, the only thing that was missing was the warm spring sunshine as the weather had taken a turn for the worst.

Louise was ready bang on time and even though the weather was a little damp we were able to get out into the lovely home garden to capture some good bridal photographs.

On arrival to the Church we did not have to wait to long for Paul and the guys to arrive and they really were good fun to photograph.

After the ceremony the weather did not hold off for us with rain falling so we decided to go onto Smeetham Hall Barn, Essex where on arrival the sun came out so all the photographs were taken in the lovely grounds.

Louise and Paul really were a great couple to photograph and we are sure they will be happy to view the photographs we have captured.

Sabrina Pengelly Wedding photographer Suffolk and Essex has just attended a training seminar with one of the countrys leading photographers Ray Lowe HonFBIPP at the stunning wedding venue Fansham Hall, Ware Herts,

Ray Lowe Hon FBIPP was Sabrina's wedding photographer Suffolk and Essex mentor for her LBIPP which she gained last year and he invited Sabrina to one of his Master Classes.

The whole day was spent with a Bride&Groom going through techinques for good wedding photography.

Pengelly Photography wedding photographers Suffolk and Essex are always looking at ways to improve and keep up with current trends with wedding photography and this was a perfect oppurtunity for Sabrina wedding photographer Suffolk and Essex to gain a vast amount of knowledge from one of the true Masters in photography Ray Lowe Hon FBIPP.

Pengelly Photography wedding photography Suffolk and Essex have just had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Karli and Vincent who were married at the lovely Gosfield Hall, Gosfield, Essex.

This really was a lovely day and once again we were blessed with lovely warm spring sunshine.

We really were pleased that the day went well as poor Karli and Vincent did not have the best of preperations for their wedding day with their son Sam being in hospital the day before and it was touch and go if the wedding was going to go ahead. but Sam was able to make the wedding.

Karli looked stunning and we had the pleasure of photograph in the Rococo suite at Gosfield Hall, Gosfield, Essex for great bridal photographs.

After the ceremony we had plenty of time to get all the group photographs taken along with the photographs of Karli and Vincent, thank you to Emma wedding cooridinator at Gosfield Hall as she was a pleasure to work with.

We met Alexandra at her parents home to capture some bridal preperation photographs.

Daniel and the guys arrived bang on time which allowed us time to capture some really good guy photographs.

The whole day went very well and we have to say a special thank you to the couple who live at the old vicarage as after the ceremony we were allowed to use their stunning gardens, and again thank you to all the guests as once again they came into the group photographs when requested.

Alexandra and Daniel were a pleasure to photograph when we arrived at the lovely Preston Priory Barn, Lavenham, Suffolk and we able to walk around the stunning gardens capture some good together photographs.

When we arrived at Layer Marney Tower, Essex Christopher and the guys were alreay waiting for us so we were able to capture some really good guys photographs.

After the ceremony we were able to capture all the requested group photographs with ease as once again all the guests came into the photographs when asked to which does help make the photography a lot easier.

Karen and Christopher were a joy to photograph and just had enough time to walk around the lovely Layer Marney Tower, Essex garden and lake.

Pengelly Photography wedding photographer Suffolk&Essex have just had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Rachael and Paul who were married at the lovely Essex wedding venue The Reid Rooms, Margaret Roding, Dunmow, Essex.
The weather was very kind to us in Essex although a little windy we had lovely sunshine.
Rachael was a joy to photograph being so calm and enjoying every minute of her morning preparations, Rachael was getting ready in the house that is just off to the side of the barn.
Paul and the guys arrived early so we were able to capture some very good guy photographs with Paul although a little nervous posing very well indeed.

Pengelly Photography wedding photographers Suffolk and Essex had the pleasure for the fourth year in a row to photograph the Pendrill School Of Dance Show 2009 at the Ramsey School, Halstead, Essex.

The dance show is made up of 130 children and adults from the ages of 6 to 26 the show is run over two days the Saturday and Sunday with each day having two shows.

We have to say it was a fantastic show and gets better and better each year with more complex dance routines and costumes.

The busy weekend continued on Sunday when Pengelly Photography wedding photographer Suffolk and Essex were invited by the lovely wedding venue Spains Hall to photograph a tree planting day Arboretum.
Every year the wedding venue Spains Hall, Finchingfield, Essex invite couples who were married at Spains Hall, Finchingfield, Essex to plant a tree, the whole day was a complete joy with 22 couples arriving to plant their trees, of course Pengelly Photography wedding photographer Suffolk and Essex when on hand to capture each couple planting their chosen tree.
After the trees had been planted the couples were invited to stay and enjoy a lovely 2 course lunch which we were also very grateful to Spains Hall, Finchingfield, Essex inviting us to stay for lunch as well, we have to say it was delicious.
It was also very nice to see 2 of the couples Pengelly Photography had photographed at Spains Hall, Finchingfield, Essex, Rebecca and Christopher and Katherine and James.
We really do have to say a big thank you to Rosemary and Tim Ruggles-Brise for allowing Pengelly Photography to photograph this very special event.

It was a very busy weekend for Pengelly Photography wedding photographer Suffolk and Essex, we photographed the wedding of Helen and Kieren who were married at the lovely Suffolk wedding venue Smeetham Hall Barn, Bulmer, Suffolk.
Helen and Kieren live in Malta but had flown in to marry on what turned out to be a very nice day and were blessed with lovely sunshine for their wedding day.

We have just had a very enjoyable day at the wedding fayre at Smeetham Hall Barn on the Suffolk Essex border.
This annual wedding fayre was once again very well attended with over 120 brides viewing a vast range of exhibitors.

Pengelly Photography wedding photography Suffolk and Essex have just received a lovely thank you email from Jessica and James who's wedding we photographed at Nothcote House Ascot, Berkshire.

We have just had the very great pleasure of photographing the wedding of Jessica and James who were married at Northcote House, Ascot, Berkshire.
This was the first wedding of the new year for Pengelly Photography wedding photographer Suffolk and Essex. And what a fantastic start to the new year, we made the long trip on the Friday before Jessica and James wedding to view Northcote House Ascot, Berkshire and met with Oscar ( Wedding co ordinator ) who we have to say was very helpful and he showed us around this stunning wedding venue.
On the morning of the wedding we drove over to Jessica parents home which we would like to thank them for making us so welcome and also to Edwin for the tea.
Although it was very very cold we were able to photograph Jessica outside and a very special mention for Jessica as it was -5 but not once did Jessica complain about the cold and we were able to capture stunning bridal photographs.
We then took the short drive to Northcote House, Ascot, Berkshire  to meet the guys who were enjoying a drink in the bar as with Jessica we were able to photograph the guys outside in front of this stunning wedding venue.
The whole day was a real joy to photograph once again all the guest came into the group photographs which always makes the day run a lot smoother  and enables the Bridae&Groom more social time.
Jessica and James were a great couple to work with and once again we have to thank them both for working outside in the cold but we know they will be pleased with the stunning photographs we were able to capture.

Our last wedding of 2007 was Nicola and Robert who were married at Gosfield Church and Smeetham Hall Barn, Essex,
The last wedding of the year the weather was bright and sunny but very very cold and very very windy.
We meet Nicola at her Mum and Dad's house and was blessed with a large conservatory which was ideal for photography.
Special thanks to Nicola's hairdresser and make up artist who had Nicola ready early which give us time to get some very nice photographs.
The guys were met at Gosfield church and had to endure the cold and the windy conditions but fun was had by all.
One of the nice things when photographing a wedding at Gosfield church is you have complete freedom within the church.
After the wedding ceremony we went straight onto Smeetham Hall Barn, Essex.
Once again due to the cold and wind the guests were very quick coming into the group photographs.
Nicola was a star to photograph as not once did she complain about how cold it was so very well done Nicola.
So for our last wedding of the year we were tested by the weather but had a lovely couple who had fun and were a joy to photograph.

Our second from last wedding of the year was the wedding of Sophie and James who were married at The Swan Hotel, Lavenham, Suffolk.
Although the weather was cold it stayed dry long enough for us to get all our photographs taken outside.
We met Sophie at the Swan Hotel where she was getting ready and was able to get some really good preparation shots.
James was ready well before time so we were able to take our time around the Swan Hotel getting some really good Groom and bestman photographs
When we met Sophie again when she had got ready, wow what can we say apart from absolutely stunning.
Everything went very well and all the guests came into the photographs when required, we think this was the case so they could get back into the warm bar.
Sophie and James really were a real joy to photograph and the camera loved Sophie.

On Saturday we photographed Helen and Kevin's wedding at Layer Marney Tower, Essex.
From the very start this was a fantastic wedding, we met Helen at her Mum and Dad's house to start the days photography.
Helen looked stunning in her wedding dress and we had a perfect setting with Mum and Dad's beautiful conservatory as our makeshift studio.
We then went onto to meet the guys at Layer Marney Tower, Essex and although it was sunny it was very very cold, we was able to have fun with all the guys.
Must say that Helen and Kevin's guest's were fantastic as they all came into all the shots very quickly, the lure of the warm room must have helped.
Helen must take special praise as she only had a strapless wedding dress on and not once did she complain about being cold.
Also a very special guest arrived before the speeches yes we had the real Father Christmas make an appearance much to the delight of the children but also the adults.
Both Kevin and Sabrina wish Helen and Kevin a very happy life together.

This was our last wedding of 2008 and what a fantastic wedding to finish the wedding season on for Pengelly Photography wedding photographer Suffolk and Essex.
We had the very great pleasure of photographing the wedding of Michelle and Martin who were married at the stunning wedding venue Gosfield Hall, Gosfield, Essex.
When we arrived we were greeted by a very excited Michelle who was in the process of having her hair and make up completed we knew straight away Michelle was going to look stunning.
Gosfield Hall really is a stunning wedding venue to get married at and once again the help we received from Sonia ( wedding coordinator) was first class.
Once Michelle was ready we went up to the fantastic Rococco suite and were able to capture fantastic wedding photographs, we do have to say Michelle made our day easy with her posing and beauty.
Martin was a little nervous when we meet him but as with Michelle he and the guys were a joy to photograph.
The whole day really did work like clockwork we had a few group shot to complete but the guest were fantastic as they all came into the photographs when requested, this always helps us and the bride&groom as we are able to allow the bride&groom more social time so they can actually talk to their guests.
Michelle and Martin were great fun to work with and we have have to say a special thank you to Michelle as she had to cope with the cold but did not complain once.

Most of our time is photography weddings in Suffolk and Essex but today we met up with our good friend Kirsty who we met through wedding fayres to photograph her new range of wedding Tiaras you can find her website at www.auroradesignsdirect.com
Kirsty runs her own business making designer Tiaras and also runs a wedding bridal dress shop in Norwich, Norfolk.
We are also photographing Kirsty wedding next year in August at Weston Park, Norwich, Norfolk which we are very much looking forward too.
Also we must not forget to mention Kirsty friend Danelle who we have to say is the perfect model and we were able to just photograph a couple of photographs for ourselves one of them can be viewed here.

We had the pleasure of photographing Jessica and Gareth wedding at Walton Church, Felixstowe, Suffolk then onto Haughley Park Barn, Haughley, Suffolk.
Jessica looked absolutely stunning and had the look of a catwalk model, the only thing missing was the weather which was not very kind to us on Saturday.
Even though the weather was not kind to us we still was able to get some stunning photographs of Jessica and Gareth.
We also have to say a special thank you to the owners of Haughley Park Barn, Suffolk for allowing us to use the inside of the house only the second time this has happened due to the weather.
Jessica and Gareth were a fun couple to work with and we do wish them the very best for the furture.

We have just had the pleasure of having Christmas lunch with 14 fellow full time professional wedding photographers from around Suffolk and Essex.
Although we are all competitors within the wedding market around Suffolk and Essex we are also very good friends and it is always a pleasure to meet up with fellow full time professional wedding photographers in Suffolk and Essex to have a wonderful Christmas lunch at the stunning wedding venue Hintlesham Hall Suffolk and catch up.

Today I had the pleasure of a day out in London with fellow full time professional wedding photographer David Islip.
Although David is one of our main competitors he is also a very good friend of mine, which does mean competitors do get on!!
We went up to London on the invite of Nikon, we both use Nikon cameras and are part of their professional support service which is great backing to have when you are a wedding photographer in a pressure environment and spent the morning viewing their new Nikon D3X.
After spending the morning with Nikon we then went onto the National Portrait Gallery to see a very inspiring exhibition of the world acclaimed photographer Annie Leibovitz. If you ever get chance to visit London then make your way to this gallery as the work is stunning.

We had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Debbie and Tony who married at Stoke By Nayland Church, Essex and then Rouses Farm, Essex.
The weather was sunny but very very cold when we met Debbie at Rouses Farm, Essex where Debbie was getting ready, while Debbie was having her hair and make up completed we photographed the lovely marquee that was set up in the farm grounds.
We met the guys at Stoke By Nayland Church for some informal photographs before Debbie made her grand arrival.
It was a real shame that we were not allowed to photograph during the ceremony as this is the most important part of the day, but we will always respect the wishes of the church.
The rest of the day run like clock work and Debbie had arranged for a lovely Shetland pony to be at the church dressed as a reindeer which was a hit with the guests.
It was so lovely to photograph a wedding where we did not have large amounts of group photographs to take so most of the wedding was photographed reportage so Debbie and Tony had lots of social time.

We photographed Carly and Ross's wedding on Saturday at our second visit this year to Dove Barn, Groton, Suffolk.
On what was a very cold day we had a fantastic day photographing a very nice couple.
Carly looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress and with the bridesmaids looking fantastic in their black dresses.
Although we had very low light levels we were blessed with a great group of guests who came into all the group shots within 15mins.
This left us with plenty of time to photograph Carly and Ross around the lovely Dove Barn, Suffolk grounds.
Carly and Ross were a real joy to photograph and we had plenty of laughter while photographing them.
Both Kevin and Sabrina wish them both the very best for the future.

We had the very great pleasure of photographing the wedding of Hannah and Matthew who were married at Lavenham Church, Lavenham, Suffolk and then onto the stunning Hintlesham Hall, Suffolk.
Hannah was ready on time and a great thanks to her hairdresser and makeup artist, Hannah looked stunning and what a perfect venue we had for bridal photographs in the long gallery within Hintlesham Hall, Suffolk.
We met Matthew at The Cock pub in Lavenham, Suffolk and have to say all the men looked fantastic in military uniform or evening suits, when you photograph a military wedding the uniforms always do stand out.
Lavenham church looked stunning with winter sunshine on the church, the weather did hold off long enough for Hannah to make her grand entrance.
The whole day was fantastic and once again we were able to capture fantastic wedding photographs with Hannah and Matthew having a lovely wedding day.
The evening was started with a firework display and then the evening dancing begun, fantastic way for us to finish capturing Hannah and Matthews wedding day.

On Saturday 10th Novemeber we had the pleasure of photographing two sisters Roxanne and Shannon.
We had planned many months ago to have a couple of Saturdays off from photographing weddings as we had shot 49 weddings so far this year.
So we thought we would invite Roxanne and Shannon into our new home studio for a photo shoot.
Well what a fantastic couple of hours we had, for two girls who are not models to pose like they did was brilliant.

We had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Angela and Ian who were married at The Fennes, Bocking, Essex.
The whole day was a real pleasure to photograph as everyone were ready on time and even the weather played it's part by being sunny.
Angela was ready bang on time which always helps us as wedding photographers to have time to capture fantastic images.
Ian and the guys arrived early so once again we had time to capture really good guy photographs.
The whole day run perfectly  with everyone coming into the group photographs which allowed us to have time to capture really good wedding photographs for Angela and Ian, who were having a great wedding day.

On Saturday we had the pleasure of photographing Louise and Joel who were married at Haughley Park Barn, Suffolk.
For a November wedding the weather was fantastic being 15degrees, better then some days we had in the summer.
Haughley Park Barn, Suffolk looked stunning, this is one of those locations that are too good the grounds are endless with so many good places to photograph.
Louise and Joel were a joy to photograph, we had so much time to get the photographs the happy couple wanted.
Inside the barn looked fantastic with the autumn colours working so well.

We had the pleasure to photograph the wedding of Rebecca and James who were married at Hintlesham Hall, Hintlesham, Suffolk.
Once again we were blessed with lovely sunshine when we arrived at Rebecca's parents house, which we have to say was stunning.
Rebecca and her 4 bridesmaids were ready bang on time so we could capture some lovely home visit bridal photographs.
James as well had arrived at Hintlesham Hall, Suffolk well ahead of time so again we had plenty of time to capture some great guy photographs.
The whole day run like clock work with plenty of time being arranged for us to venture into Hinlesham Hall, Hintlesham, Suffolk grounds where Rebecca and James were a great couple to photograph and we did capture lovely wedding photographs.

We had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Helen and Philip who were married at Layer Marney Tower, Colchester, Essex.
Once again we were really blessed with lovely sunny weather at last summer has arrived.
Both Helen and Philip really were great fun to work with and had a great wedding day.
The whole day ran like clock work with the guest's coming into the group photographs when requested which helped Helen and Philip have some social time to talk to their guests.

We had the pleasure of photographing Anna and Andrew's wedding at Bentley Church and Hintlesham Hall, Suffolk.
Once again we was blessed with fantastic weather although cold it was sunny suffolk.
Anna was one of the calmest brides we have ever worked with and we have to thank Anna's family for making us so welcome at the family home.
The gardens at the brides mum home were a perfect place to photograph a bride and we was able to get some stunning shots.
We then made our way to photograph Andrew and the guys and once again what a calm groom.
Then the funniest thing that has happened to me a s a photographer while we was waiting for the bride to arrival a horse which was all saddled came trotting up the quite country road but without a rider. Of course we was concerned that the rider had fallen off.......anyway picture the scene a wedding photographer with camera in hand and catching a horse just as the bride turned up for her wedding. Thankfully one of the usher had walked up and I passed the horse to him so I could photograph the bride.
Anyway the rest of the day was perfect and as always once at Hintlesham Hall we was able to get some fanatstic photographs.
Both Anna and Andrew were a perfect couple and it is a pleasure when the couple are so relaxed.

We had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Lianne and Sean who were married at St Mary's Church, Bocking then onto the beautiful Spains Hall, Finchingfield, Essex.
The weather was great for Lianne and Sean's wedding we were blessed with lovely sunshine which has been in short supply this year.
Sean and the guys were great fun to work with and also arrived right on time which always makes a photographers life a lot easier if we are not rushing.
Lianne looked stunning when she arrived and was well assisted by her bridesmaids which included Lianne and Sean's daughters who were only 1 and 2 years old.

We had the great pleasure of photographing the wedding of Janine and Paul who were married at Parklands, Quendon Hall, Quendon, Essex.
The weather was fantastic a really lovely Autumn day with bright sunshine and warm as well.
Janine looked stunning when we met her for her bridal photographs and the room we had to work in was delightful.
Paul and the guys were great fun to work with and once again we were able to capture some great wedding photographs.

We had the great pleasure to photograph Rebecca and Tim who were married at Thorpeness Country Club, Thorpeness, Suffolk.
The weather once again played a big part in the days proceedings although it was dry it was extremely windy and unfortunately we were unable to get onto the beach as planned.
Albeit the weather this did not affect Rebecca and Tim's day as Rebecca parents had a lovely new built house in Thorpeness which proved to be a great studio.
Rebecca and Tim were a fantastic couple to work with and Rebecca was great at posing.
The day events were finished off with a meal at the152 restaurant which was a very lovely setting to have your wedding meal, in fact both Sabrina and Kevin have themselves booked a meal there.

Pengelly photography wedding photogrphy Suffolk and Essex have just photographed Laura and Andrew on Saturday at one of our favourite locations Smeetham Hall Barn, Essex.
The weather was perfect bright but overcast which for a photographer is just fantastic light.
Laura was just fantatsic to work with, did not have a care in the world and just had fun.
The day started with a home visit and then onto Smeetham Hall Barn where we met Andrew and the guys.
The whole day was busy but we did have a really good time with Laura and Andrew and was able to get some really good photographs.

On Friday we photographed Charlotte and Nick's wedding at Layer Marney Tower, Essex.
Although the weather was not at it best basically raining we had a fanatstic time.
The day started at Nick's Mum's house where Charlotte was getting ready, for the first 30mins we
were all talking about Chelsea as we found out we were all suporters, we do have to thank Nick's
mum for making us feel so welcome at her house.
Well what can we say about Charlotte and Nick apart from Fun, Fun and Fun.
Even though the weather was very poor indeed nothing was going to spoil their day.
All the group photographs had to be taken inside but I did promise Charlotte we would get photographs taken outside in Layer Marney Tower, Essex grounds and we did this, we had a 15min slot where the rain had stopped so outside we went.
Even though the ground was very wet this did not stop Charlotte and Nick having a lot of fun and we were able to get some great photographs.
We do have to say a big thank you to them both for the fantastic 3 course meal we had and the Beef wellington was fantastic.
Both Kevin and Sabrina wish them both a very happy life together and come on the blues!!!!!.

We had the pleasure to photograph the wedding of Natalie and Wayne who were married a St mary's & St Michaels church, Mistley, Essex and The Venture Centre, Lawford, Essex.
At the home visit natalie was a pleasure to photograph as Natalie was ready well ahead so we were able to take our time and capture very good photographs.
Wayne and his bestman arrived in a pink Cadillac which Wayne had actually sprayed this car.
Not to be outdone Natalie arrived in some style in a beautiful horse drawn carriage.
Natalie and Wayne were even blessed with fantastic weather which has been in short supply this year.
We even had chance after the wedding ceremont to go down to the sea front which once again we were able to capture some very creative wedding photographs.

On Thursday we photographed Jo and Scott who were married at La Talbooth Essex.
One of the joys with being a wedding photographer is meeting fanatstic people and photographing stunning venues.
We had both at this wedding fanatstic couple and stunning location.
Jo should be a wedding co-ordinator as when we arrived for the home visit everything was ready for us and everyone was so relaxed.
Because Jo was so well oganised, we even had time to go to Scotts home for some relaxed guy shots.
The whole day was a joy to photograph, La Talbooth is such a lovely venue and we was able to get some stunning photographs.
Even with the speeches the 3 bestman put on a fantastic speech which was hard to photograph when you are laughing with them.
The whole day was perfect in everyway and both Kevin and Sabrina wish them both a very happy life together.

We had the pleasure to photograph the wedding of Michelle and Jason who were married at Hedingham Castle, Essex and then onto The Bull Hotel, Long Melford, Suffolk.
Once again we were blessed with lovely sunny weather, Michelle was very relaxed at the home visit.
Jason arrived in style in a fantastic red Mustang which sounded as good as it looked.
We took the guys to the castle where we had time to capture some good photographs.
The whole day ran like clockwork and we were able to capture all the group photographs Michelle and Jason wanted with ease.
Michelle and Jason were a pleasure to photograph and arrived at The Bull Hotel, Long Melford in plenty of time to socialise.

The second of our weddings was Mary and Nick who were married at Hintlesham Hall, Ipswich, Suffolk.
A very nice day was had by everyone the weather was kind and Mary looked stunning as she arrived in a very nice Bentley.
As always Hintlesham Hall looked stunning and we was able to really get some fantastic photographs of Mary and Nick.
This wedding was so relaxed Mary and Nick were a pleasure to work with.

Our first of our two weddings this weekend was Mary and Matt who were married at Seckford Hall, Ipswich, Suffolk.
For the first time in a few weeks we had the threat of rain today but although we did have a few spots this did not deter us from getting all our photographs taken outisde.
Mary was quite nervous to start with but soon relaxed and we was able to get some fantastic photographs of her and her girls (bridesmaids).
We then met matt in the beautiful Seckford Hall gardens and we really did get some great shots of the guys.
After the ceremony we went and walked around the gardens with the happy couple and whilst we was doing this took some great shots.
Kevin and Sabrina wish both of them a very happy life together.

The second of our weekend weddings was yhe wedding of celilia and Phillip who were married at Brightlingsea Church, Essex and afterwards at Prested Hall, feering Essex.
Once again the weather was fantastic, in fact it was very warm.
The church ceremony was a little different with music being played from Stevie Wonder, Celilia looked stunning as she walked down the aisle
After the ceremony we went onto Prested hall and we had a great time photographing around the grounds.
We have to say Celilia and phillip are very felxible as the photograph shown will show you.

The first of our two weddings this weekend was Maria and Mark who were married at the Catholic Church, Colchester, Essex and Holiday Inn, Colchester, Essex.
Once agian the weather was fantastic and we had a great day photographing in a beautiful church and then afterwards in the grounds of the Holiday Inn.
Maria and Mark although nervous were a great couple to work with and we had a good time photographing them both.
Kevin and sabrina wish them both a very happy future together.

On Sunday we was invited by our friend Kanha who has gone back to what she knows best and that is designing and making wedding dresses Kanha's new shop is called Brides at hotbobbins.
Kanha has built a purpose built shop on the outskirst of Ipswich, Suffolk.
We was invited as photographers to photograph Khana's open day.
Well what can we say apart from what a fantastic day out we had, it was also nice that kanha made it a family day and our children Chloe and Aarron were also invited.
The day was made even more specail by Kanha, as she had laid on a top Thai chef to keep us feed all day and we have to say the food was fantastic.
We also worked capturing some great shots of the dresses which were worn by some very beautiful models.
As wedding photographers you are always looking to do different things with posing and we was able to do this with the help of a model we have worked with before Faye, so thank you Faye.
Of course we wish Kanha ever success and we look forward to seeing Kanha at many wedding fayres.

Our second wedding of the weekend was a long trip into sunny Norfolk for the wedding of Charlotte and Mark who were married at Gresham School Chapel, Holt, Norfolk
This has to go down as the most history based wedding we have ever photographed.
The wedding dress Charlotte was wearing was a dress that dated back nearly 100 years, 5 brides before Charlotte had worn this dress.
The dress was first worn in 1910 by Charlottes Great granmother, twenty five years later, her daughter borrowed it for her wedding. The dress was also worn by Sally Green who wore it in 1963 when she married actor Geoffrey Palmer, a familiar sight in comedies including Butterflies, Fairly Secret Army and As Time Goes By.
Charlottes Mother also wore the dress in 1975.
Three of the brides who had worn the dress for their weddings were at Charlotte and Marks wedding.
The story of this wonderful dress has now been featured in local papers and now also the national press have got hold of this story and this is featured in The Daily Mail, Daily Mirror and the Sun newspapers.
The whole day was perfect we had plenty of time to photographer the happy couple and was very relaxed indeed.
Both Kevin and Sabrina wish them both a very happy future together.

Two weddings again this weekend the first being Liz and Matt who were married at St Marys and St Peters Church, Black Notley, Essex and then onto Layer Marney Tower, Essex.
It is a really nice story how Liz and Matt met, they met while both working in a banana factory on leave from their studies from university.
Well what can we say about Liz apart from stunning we have never seen hair that had curled so much it was beautiful.
The highlight of the day was the wedding guests watching Kevin getting sung by a wasp 3 times in the leg, they did think it was part of our photography act but soon realised that Kevin had actually been stung and was in some pain, but like a true professional carried on, oh my hero!!!!!
We have to say Liz and Matt were a joy to work with and both of them were so relaxed which made photographing them both very easy.
Both Kevin and Sabrina wish them both a very happy future together.

We had the pleasure to photograph the wedding of Rachael and Daniel who were married at Frinton free Church then onto The Old Vicarage, Kirby-Le-Soken, Essex.
Rachael was a joy to photograph at the home visit, we were blessed with a lovely garden, thanks to Rachael's Mum and Dad and a very warm and sunny day.
Daniel and the guy's arrived at Frinton free Church on a Tractor and Trailer which brought the crowds in to watch who were on there way to the beach.
Rachael and Daniel were a great couple to work with and we were able to capture some very good photographs.
The rest of the afternoon was very pleasant indeed as the reception was held in the garden of Daniels which had the lovely feel of a garden party and everyone had time to socialise.
The highlight of the day was a stunning firework display which we did stay onto to capture.
We would like to thank Rachael and Daniel for letting Pengelly Photography, wedding photography essex be part of your day, both Kevin and Sabrina would like to wish Rachael and Daniel a very happy married life together.

We have just received a lovely thank you card from Rebecca and Christopher who were married at St Mary's The Virgin Church, Lt Stamford and Spains Hall, Finchingfield, Essex.

Thank you is not enough, you were both fantastic, it was an absolute pleasure to work with you both.
We had an amazing day, all which went according to plan, thank you for all the time you spent listening to our requirements and capturing all the photos we were looking for and loads more besides.

The second of our two weddings this weekend was our first visit to a very nice venue where Amy and Scott were married at the 4 star Cambourne Belfry, Cambridge.
We had a fantastic time at Amy and Scotts wedding where the couple put everything into their wedding photography.
Amy and Scott were a pleasure to photograph at their wedding and we really did have good fun with a fun couple.
We had plenty of time to explore this venue and had time to take plenty of photographs of the happy couple.
The whole day was perfect and we must say the food was delicious, which we must say a big thank you to Amy and Scott.
One of the highlights of this wedding which bought a tear to most peoples eye is where Scott got up to sing to Amy, must say a very big well done to Scott to get up in front of all those people at his wedding to sing took some doing, think the X-factor is next Scott.
Both Kevin and Sabrina would like to wish the happy couple the very best for the future.

Once again a very hectic weekend for the bank holiday with two weddings the first being the wedding of Philippa and Dan who were married at St Marys Church, Boxford, Suffolk then onto Dove Barn, Groton, Suffolk.
Summer seemed to arrive again as Saturday was very hot, but Phillipa and Dan had a great time.
After our home visit for Phillipa we met Dan at the White Hart in Boxford which was a stones throw away from the church.
After the wedding ceromony we took a few photographs at St Mary's then went onto the stunning Dove Barn, Groton, Suffolk.
We had a very relaxed time photographing Philippa and Dan around the extensive grounds and was able to get some fantastic photographs.
Both Kevin and Sabrina wish Philippa and Dan a very happy life together

Our third wedding of the Bank Holiday was the wedding of Usha and Dunstan who were married at The Hempel Hotel, London.
The Hempel Hotel is truly a stunning 5 star hotel, the interior and grounds were amazing and we were very excited as photographers with the venue we had to work with.
There was two parts to Usha and Dunstans wedding the first part was going to be Usha and Dunstan in Indian clothing then they both were going to change into western clothing.
Usha and Dunstan really were a great couple to work with, they allowed us to capture really creative wedding photographs around the hotel and in the grounds, the colours with their Indain clothing was fantastic.
Both Kevin and Sabrina wish Usha and Dunstan a very happy married life together and also we would like to thank them both to the fantastic meal they provided for us and allowing Pengelly photography, Wedding photographers, London to capture their special day

 

Our second wedding was the blessing of Jacqueline and Vincent who re-newed their marriage vows at Our lady Of Light Church, Clacton and then Frinton Tennis Club, Frinton, Suffolk.
The whole day was a real joy to photograph with Jacqueline having a great time and looked fantastic in her red dress
Vincent and the boys were also great fun.
After the ceremony we even had chance to go down to Frinton beach but unfortunately the tide was in but this did not stop us from capturing fantastic photographs.

A very busy Bank Holiday for Pengelly Photography with three weddings, the first being the wedding of Rachel and Steven who were married at St Andrews Church, Gt Cornard and then onto The Bull Hotel, Long Melford, Suffolk.
We have to say this was one of the most relaxed weddings we have photographed everyone on the day were so calm.
Rachel was ready on time so we were able to capture very nice photographs in the lovely garden.
Steven and the guys were also ready on time and were waiting at St Andrews Church for us.
The whole day was fantastic with rachel and Steven being a pleasure to photographs we even had chance when we arrived at The Bull Hotel, Long Melford, Suffolk to go across the road and capture some great photographs in a lovely wheat field.

We had the pleasure of photographing Kelly and Duncan wedding on Saturday at Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon, Essex.
Two years ago we photographed Duncan's brothers wedding Dr Andrew and his wife Dr Charlotte at Layer Marney Tower, Essex and Kelly and Duncan booked us for their wedding on the Monday after the wedding.
Once again we was really lucky with the weather as we had rain in the morning but this stopped before we was due to start photography.
Crabbs barn looked fantastic and we was able to get some really good photographs.
Both Kelly and Duncan had a fantastic time.

On Saturday we had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Hayley and Dan who were married at Holbrook Church and then onto the stunning Woolverstone Hall, Ipswich, Suffolk.
The whole day was a very lovely wedding Hayley was great fun and did not stop smiling.
Holbrook Church is lovely and we were able to capture some really good photographs of Dan and the guys.
After the church ceremony we then went onto to the stunning Woolverstone Hall not only does this wedding location look stunning from the front but also from the back with stunning views over looking the river Orwell.
Hayley and Dan were such a lovely couple to photograph being so relaxed and with the stunning views we were able to capture some fantastic photographs.

For the third wedding in a row we were at Spains Hall, Finchingfield, Essex for the wedding of Rebecca and Christopher.
We met Rebecca at her parents house and we have to say thank you to Rebecca's parents for making us feel so welcome, their garden was stunning and Rebecca was a pleasure to photograph being so relaxed.
We met Christopher and the guys at the very lovely St Mary's the Virgin Church and Christopher was as relaxed as Rebecca.
The whole day really was a great pleasure and the day run like clock work and as always we had time to walk around the stunning Spains Hall gardens and capture stunning wedding photographs.
Both Kevin and Sabrina both wish Rebecca and Christopher a very happy married life together and thank you for allowing Pengelly Photography, Wedding Photographers, Essex to be part of their special day.

Our second wedding were friends of Sabrina and they were Abbie and matthew who wre married at St Andrews Church and Smeetham Hall Barn, Essex.
Once again we had a fantastic time as a wedding photographer you always worry you are going to do a good job and when you photograph a friends wedding it always puts a little bit more pressure on you, but I did not need to worry as the day was great.
But we did not need to worry as the day was fantastic both Abbie and Matthew posed really well and Kevin was able to get some fantastic photographs.
We even had the pleasure of joining Abbie and Matthew at their evening reception as guest and a very nice evening was had by us all.
Both Sabrina and Kevin really do wish them both a very happy life together.

Once again a very busy weekend we started on Friday with the first of our weddings of Dr Michelle and Patrick who were married at the Emmanuel college Cambridge.
Dr Michelle and Patrick were a joy to work with we had a fantastic location a fantastic couple and also fantastic weather what more could a wedding photographer ask for.
Everything about this wedding was perfect.
We got on so with this lovely couple from the first time we met them that they even invited us to their reception.

Our second wedding in a row at the lovely Spains Hall, Finchingfield, Essex was the wedding of Louise and Peter.
It was a very pleasant change to not have to worry about the weather as we were greeted with lovely sunshine.
We met Louise at Crest Cottage and were able to capture some very relaxed wedding photographs of Louise, Mum and Dad and her bridesmaids.
Peter and the guys were great fun to photograph with his bestman being on crutches after a BMX bike accident.
The whole day was a pleasure to photograph with Louise and Peter being great fun to photograph, with Spains Hall and their gardens stunning to walk around capturing very relaxed photographs.
Both Kevin and Sabrina wish Louise and Peter a very happy married life together.

Steven and I just wanted to say and a big thank you to you both for helping to make our wedding day so special.
The combination of your professionalism, organisation and the good working relationship[ you share together made it all so easy & enjoyable for everyone involved.( I must mention here that your weather forecasting skills also came in handy ).
Even our guests who are uncomfortable in front of the camera were able to relax in your company.
The speed with which you respond to our queries has been most impressive we got to see our pictures on-line just two days after the wedding.
It goes without saying (but we will) that we are delighted with our photos and are really pleased with the way you have captured our day.....we have already recommended you to our friends!

We have just had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Emma and Adrian who were married at the stunning Spains Hall, Finchingfield, Essex.
The morning of the wedding was bright and sunny but unfortunately the weather forecast for the rest of the day was not to good.
Emma and her bridesmaids were a joy to photograph at the lovely Crest cottage, Emma looked stunning and by now the weather had turned for the worse but nothing was going to spoil her day.
Adrian, bestman and ushers arrived in the A-Team Van which we heard coming before we saw it and were able to get all their photographs taken outside at the front of Spains hall, before the rain set in.
The whole day was a real pleasure to photograph with Emma and Adrian really enjoying themselves albeit the weather conditions.
But Emma, Adrian and ourselves were determined to get out into the beautiful Spains Hall gardens which we did later in the day when the rain eased for a 15 minute period so we did capture some stunning photographs of them both.
We also have to say a thank you for the help from Shirley ( Front of House ) who made things so easy for us to capture great images.

Many people only know of Pengelly Photography as wedding photographers, but we also are commercial photographers.
I (Kevin) had a very nice day out in the fantastic sunshine with Prolog, in Nottingham photographing one of their new buildings which was to say the least very large.
This building could hold two full size football pitches inside.
I had complete freedom to do my thing which is a photographers dream and also having perfect light.

Another busy couple of days where we photographed weddings on Friday and Saturday, the first wedding was the wedding of Clare and James who were married at Saint Gregorys Church, Sudbury, Suffolk and then onto Stoke By Nayland Hotel, Essex.
This was a very nice wedding to photograph and we have to say well done to Clare as she was ready early which we have to say we did not think she would be , so well done Clare.
The whole day was such a lovely relaxed day and we really did have fun with such a lovely couple.
Clare and James were a pleasure to photograph and we have to say their guest were fantastic as everyone came into photographs when requested which does make our job a lot easier.
We could not have wished for better weather and once at stoke By nayland Hotel we had plenty of time to capture some really good wedding photographs.

We photographed Kate and Dr James wedding at Smeetham Hall Barn, Essex on Saturday.
Phew summer at last has arrived, the sun shone from when we arrived at Kates parents farm to when we left Smeetham at 9.30pm in the evening.
A really fantastic day was had by everyone Kate and James had a day to remember everything was perfect on the day.
Smeetham Hall Barn looked stunning and Kevin was able to get some stunning shots of the happy couple who were enjoying every minute, Kate was a real joy to work with and james looked so cool on the day even though it was very hot!!!

Hello to you both

Just wanted to drop you a quick line before we go on honeymoon to express our sincere gratitude for the part you played on our wedding day.  We are obviously yet to see the photos but are sure that we will be pleased.  Almost every guest commented on your professionalism, how well you got on with the younger guests and how smooth the photography went.
I'm sure that you captured the essence of our magical day.  Having the photos to look forward to really will make coming home from honeymoon easier!

After 32 weddings so far this year we thought we would take a break and have a weeks holiday.
So off we went to Looe in Cornwall for a well earnt break.
We even had chance to make some wedding contact's as well checking the fantastic wedding venues on offer in Cornwall.
So watch the blog to see if we are lucky enough to photograph a wedding down in sunny Cornwall.

Our second wedding of the weekend was Amy and Darren who were married at St Michaels Church, Woolverstone and Woolverstone Hall, Suffolk.
What a fantastic day everything run like clockwork and was a joy to photograph.
Amy looked stunning and did not stop smiling allday.
Darren was well looked after by his two bestman and well assisted by his usher in helping with getting the large group together when we got back to Woolverstone Hall.
Woolverstone Hall, Suffolk is a stunning wedding venue with stunning views over looking the river Orwell.
Both Kevin and Sabrina wish the happy couple the very best for the future.

Another busy weekend the first of our two weddings was Vicky and Steve at Spains Hall, Finchingfield, Essex.
This was a wedding where we thought that for the first time this year we would not get any photographs taken outside what so ever.
How wrong we was after a morning of pouring rain half an hour before the ceremony the sun came out and we was lucky enough to get all our photographs taken outside.
Vicky and Steve were a great couple to work with and Both Kevin and Sabrina wish them the very best for the future.

We had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Rebecca and Marios who were married at All Saints Church, Rettendon and Five Lakes Hotel, Maldon, Essex.
Rebecca and Marios had the perfect house for bridal photographs, Rebecca and her three bridesmaids were a pleasure to photograph and great fun.
as everyone were ready early we were allowed and had time to be very creative and wow could Rebecca pose.
When we arrived at the church we could actually hear the guys arriving as Marios had arranged to drive a stunning red Ferrari, the guys wre great fun to photograph as well.
The whole day abeit a bit windy was great fun to photograph, rebecca and marios had allowed us plenty of photographic time to once again be very creative and we really did take some stunning images.

On Saturday 14th July we photographed Victorai and Stuarts wedding at Brightlingsea Church and then onto the stunning Westwood Park, Colchester, Essex.
Once again the weather was very kind to us and we was able to photograph all our shots outside.
Victoria and Stuart were a fun couple to work with.
Both Kevin and Sabrina wish them both a very happy life together.

A wedding date that we will not forget Friday 13th July, yes that was right Friday13th.
KellyAnne and Jason were married at Le Maison, Talbooth, Dedham, Colchester, Essex.
The day was a joy only 25 guest and a fantastic couple to work with.
KellyAnne looked fantastic and have to say Jason looked pretty good as well.

 On Wednesday 16th July, 2008 we photographed something a little different a naming ceremony of Pengelly Apartments, Bartlett Mews, Millwall, London.
During 1938, Violet Pengelly ( my fathers sister and my auntie) aged 19 and Joan Bartlett aged 18 were among the first female members to serve in the Auxiliary Fire service and was stationed on the Island. Sadly they both lost their lives in a bombing raid at the height of the blitz during World War Two.
My father Victor Pengelly being the sole surviving Brother was asked to name the Pengelly Apartments, Bartlett Mews, Millwall, London in a very moving ceremony.
The highlight of the day was when my father Victor Pengelly was presented with a medal for Violet Pengelly for her service in The Auxiliary Fire Service.
The day was a very proud day for my father which I was really grateful that I was able to share

The second of our wedding of the weekend was Alison and Darren who were married at Stoke By Nayland, Essex.
It was more like summer for Alison's and Darren's wedding with the sun shining and being quite hot.
It was very nice to be able to take the Bride and groom down to the lake where we was able to take some very nice photographs of the happy couple.
Kevin and Sabrina both wish Alison and Darren all the best for the future.

We photographed Andrea and Ian's wedding on The 7th which turned out to be one of the most sort after dates we have ever know, the date could have been filled 25 time over.
Little Cornard Church looked stunning and then on to Colne Valley Golf Club, Essex.
Once again the weather did not let us down we had fantastic sunshine.
A great day was had by everyone and we was able to get some fantastic photographs.

We had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Melanie and Ian who were married at St Andrews Church, Gt Yeldham and then onto Lovingtons Farm, Gt Yeldham, Essex
Lovingtons Farm is a Fantastic venue for a wedding and Melanie parents had worked very hard so the farm was looking at it's best.
For once we did not have to worry to much about the weather having rained in the morning we were then blessed with lovely sunshine.
Once Melanie was ready we took full advantage of the lovely rose garded where we were able to take some really nice bridal photographs.
Ian and the bestman and ushers were great to photograph enjoying the warm sunshine.
The whole day was a pleasure to photograph and Melanie and Ian were great a great bride and groom to photograph.

Well what a surprise to be called by An Essex Wedding Mag to be there new Q&A expert on all matters relating to wedding photography. Of course I have accepted their kind offer and have already been busy answering brides concerns about wedding photography.

 Pengelly Photography wedding photographer Suffolk and Essex have just had the privilege to photograph Sharlee and Steve who flew in from the Cayman Island to get married at Smeetham Hall Barn, Essex.
Once again the weather had a big part to play but this did not dampen the sprits of Sharlee and Steve.
Sharlee was a dream to photograph having no trouble to get into the poses Kevin (wedding photographer) was asking Sharlee to try.
A fantastic time was had by all and once again we was able to photograph outside despite the weathers best attempts not allowing us too.

We had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Katie and Leon who were married at St Peters Church, Cockfield and then onto The Grange Hotel, Thurston, Suffolk.
It made a pleasant change to not have to worry about the weather we were blessed with a very warm and sunny day.
We met Katie at her parents farm which we have to say was stunning and the gardens looked beautiful everyone were ready well on time so we were able to get some lovly bridal photographs.
Leon looked great in his klit and once again everything run to time with the guys arrival early.
The whole day really was a relaxed affair with The Grange Hotel leaving enough time to we could photograph in a relaxed manner.
Katie and Leon were really a great couple to photograph and we had plenty of time to get some very creative wedding photographs.

The second wedding of the weekend for Pengelly Photography wedding photographer Suffolk and Essex was Hannah and Peter who were married at Layer Marney Church and afterwards at Layer Marney Tower, Essex.
Once again the weather kept us busy raining in the morning but then a break so we was able to photograph outside.
Hannah and Peter were fantastic as there was no way the weather was going to affect their day.
The happy couple had fun even having time to enjoy the bouncy castle which we was able to photograph them having fun.

Another very hectic weekend with two weddings being photographed.
The first being Jayne and Martin's wedding at St James Church, Greenstead green, Essex and then onto Smeetham Hall Barn, Essex.
Another day which was dodging the rain but what a fantastic couple we worked with Jayne and Martin were so relaxed about everything not letting the rain affect their day.
We was able to get all the photographs taken outside and we did not even get Jayne's dress dirty which was fantastic considering the weather and the very wet ground.

Our second wedding of the weekend was the wedding of Heidi and Julian who were married at The West Wing Of Ickworth House, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
For once in a long time we did not have to worry about rain, it was windy but a fantastic day.
We met Heidi at The Angel Hotel, Bury St Edmunds and photographed Heidi's accessories so she had plenty of time to get ready as we were going to photograph all Heidi bridal photographs at the stunning Ickworth House.
Ickworth House is truly a stunning wedding venue and we met Julian and the guys there where we were able to photograph very creative grooms party photographs.
The whole day was a real joy, Ickworth had left plenty of time to explore the stunning grounds and Heidi and Julian really were a pleasure to photograph.

 We had a very busy weekend photographing weddings on Saturday and Sunday, the first of our weddings being the wedding of Mandy and Gavin at The Brome Grange Hotel, Brome Eye, Suffolk.
Unfortunatly the weather was not very good to start with, but this did not seem to worry the Bride or her Bridesmaids.
Gavin and the guys were great fun to photograph even if it was slightly raining.
We were very lucky as when Mandy was due to walk into the ceremony room the rain had stopped.
The rest of the day was a very relaxed affair and we had plenty of time to get some very good photographs.

Our second wedding of a very hectic weekend was Beverley and Steven who were married at Gregory and St George Church, Pentlow, Suffolk and Acorn farm, Acton, Suffolk.
The weather was kind to us dodging the showers but we were able to get all the photographs taken outside.
Beverley and Steven were walked up to the farm by Morris men which was enjoyed by one and all.
Photographs were taken with Stevens car collection, which were allowed out even though there was the threat of rain.

We had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Marie and Toby who were married at Long Melford Church and Stoke By Nayland Hotel, Essex.
Once again the good old British weather played it's part as when Marie arrived at the church the heaven's just opened, not only soaking us but also the videographers.
Luckly that was the only shower of the day and the rest of the day remained sunny and dry.
Marie and Toby were a pleasure to photograph and had great fun going down to the lake in golf buggies where we were able to capture some lovely photographs of them together.

Well a very hectic weekend the first of our weddings was Belinda and Rory who got married at St Andrews Church, Rushmere St Andrew, Ipswich, Suffolk and then onto Ravenwood Hall, Rougham, Suffolk, on Friday 15th June 2007.
Well what can we say about this couple about from fantastic, Belinda looked and posed like a model and really enjoyed her day.
Rory was nervous but also posed well for the camera.
The guests came far and wide flying in from South Africa and America.

We photographed Zoe and Jody's wedding on Saturday 9th June at a very sunny Cambridge.
Zoe and Jody had won a bride of the month competition from the Wedding Guide and we meet both of them to photograph this event.
We got on so well, Zoe and Jody booked us for their wedding.
Once again the weather was very kind to us and we was blessed with a very sunny and warm day.

Our second wedding of the weekend was the wedding of Susan and Darren who were married at Elms Barn, Beccles, Suffolk.
Once again we were greeted with rain at this delightful location.
Susan and Darren were a fantastic couple and did not allow the weather to affect their wedding day.
After the ceremony we did start to take the group photographs inside the lovely marquee, but were lucky enough for the rain to stop so we took the rest of Susan and Darren photographs outside.
We must say that everyone were fantastic on the day as everyone came into the photographs when required.
We had time to take Susan and Darren into the fantastic gardens of Elms Barn and we really were able to be creative and get some contemporary wedding photographs.
We would also like to thank Nicky (wedding co-coordinator of Elms Barn) who really was a pleasure to work with and hope to be back at Elms Barn many more times.

Pengelly Photography had two weddings again this weekend.
The first of our weddings was the wedding of Jo and Marcus who were married at The Swan Hotel, Lavenham, Suffolk.
Once again the weather played a big part in the wedding with rain being forecast allday.
Jo did not let the weather affect her day and we must say Jo looked stunning.
We met Marcus and his brother ( who had flown in from New Zealand with the rest of the family) actually outside as the rain had stopped for a short while, Marcus was very easy to photograph and have to say was very relaxed.
The whole day was a very relaxed day ( special thanks to John at The Swan Hotel as always for his help due to it raining) and with the Swan Hotel there is still plenty of places inside to get great wedding photographs.
Jo and Marcus really were a fun couple to work with.
Both Kevin and Sabrina wish them both a very happy married life together.

Our second wedding of the weekend was the wedding of  Nicky and Phil who were married at The Bell Hotel, Clare, Suffolk.
Nicky and Phil's wedding was a real pleasure to photograph with everything being so relaxed.
After the ceremony we took a short walk around to the very delightful Clare Country Park.
Once again we were blessed with lovely weather, photographing all our group shots by the river which was a perfect setting.
Nicky and Phil were great fun to photograph and we really were able to be creative with our photography.
Even with the walk back to the Bell Hotel we were able to capture some great photographs.

We had the pleasure of visiting the beauitful Cornwallis Hotel, Suffolk on Saturday 1st June, 2007 to photograph Lorna and Dans wedding.
The weather was fantastic, lovely and sunny and very hot, phew!!!.

On Friday we photographed the wedding of Tiffany and Kevin at The Orwell Elizabeth Hotel, Felixstowe, Suffolk.
This was the first wedding we had photographed at this lovely venue and once again we was blessed with a hot sunny day.
We met Tiffany at her parents house and had planty of time to get some really good home visit photographs, Tiffany looked stunning.
Then onto the Orwell Elizabeth Hotel, Felixstowe, Suffolk to meet Kevin and the guys, we have to say that the guys were a joy to photograph and fun was had by all.
After the ceremony we went to the Hotel Orwell Elizabeth gardens and was able to get some really good photographs of Tiffany and Kevin, due the the very hot weather we were able to find some shade to try to keep Tiffany and Kevin cool.

Our second wedding of the weekend was the wedding of Katherine and James who were married at the beautiful Spains Hall, Finchingfield, Essex.
We was greeted with fantastic weather and Spains Hall really did look stunning.
Crest Cottage was our first port of call to photograph Katherine, Mum and Dad and bridesmaids.
The whole day went past without a hitch and Shirley of Spains Hall was very well organised.
After the wedding ceremony we spent time with Katherine and James walking around the extensive gardens gettine some fantastic photographs.

We had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Nousha and Darren at the beautiful Le Talbooth, Dedham, Essex. on Friday.
The wedding day started with us meeting Nousha at Le Maison where Nousha was getting ready.
Le Maison has just undergone refurbishment and the work they have had done is stunning with a new swimming pool and extension to the main building.
After the ceremony at Le Maisons we then travelled the short distance to Le Talbooth where we was able to get fantastic photographs of Nousha and Darren in the stunning grounds .
Nousha and Darren were both a pleasure to photograph and Nousha we just loved your smile you really did enjoy your day.
As always the staff at Le Talbooth and Le Maisons were a pleasure to work with and were very professional.

On Saturday we had the pleasure of photographing Nicola and David Pengelly (who are not related to us) at The Granary, Sudbury, Suffolk.
Nicola and David were married some 21 years ago and were not able to have a big wedding, Nicola had always said that when her and David were able too they would have the wedding they really wanted.
For once we did not have to worry about the good old bristish weather although cold it was bright and overcast.
We met Nicola at The Mill Hotel, Sudbury, Suffolk it was quite a surprise that when we arrived Nicola and her 5 bridesmaids were nearly ready some 3 hours before the blessing, so we were able to take our time and had a great time photographing them all.
The guys arrived in a American police car which did make good photographing and also with David and the guys arriving early we did make use of the old Sudbury to Cambridge railway line and really was able to get some great photographs.
The whole day was a very relaxed affair and Nicola and David and done a really good job with timings.
After the main group photographs were taken we took Nicola and David away to do their together photographs which was fun to work with them both.
After these photographs were taken Nicola and David had booked a very nice boat trip down the river Stour.
Both Kevin and Sabrina hope the next 21 years for Nicola and David are as happy and to photograph a fellow Pengelly was a real pleasure as Nicola and David made us so welcome, Thank You.

Our second wedding of the weekend was on Saturday when we photographed the wedding of Claire and Eugene who were married at the lovely Smeetham Hall Barn, Bulmer, Essex.
The whole day was a very relaxing wedding to photograph where everything ran to time and Caire and Eugene were a fantastic couple to work with.
We met Claire in the morning to photograph her preperation photographs.
As on Friday the guys arrived early at Smeetham Hall Barn, Essex so again we were able to take our time and get some really good photographs.
The weather was also kind to us although big black clouds were circling around over head we did not have any rain to worry about.
Smeetham Hall Barn, Essex grounds are always lovely to get some really good photographs and Caire and Eugene were really having a good time and were a pleasure to photograph.

On Friday Pengelly Photography wedding photographer Suffolk and Essex photographed the wedding of Emma and James who were married at Clare Church, Suffolk and then onto the beautiful Spains Hall, Finchingfield, Essex.
We met Emma at her parents stunning country cottage for Emma's preparation photographs.
Emma's Mother is a very talented lady as not only had she made Emma's wonderful wedding dress but she had also made her own outfit and plus the wedding cake.
At Clare Church, Suffolk we met the guys and as they had arrived early was able to take our time and get some great photographs.
Once again the good old British weather played a big part in the rest of the days proceedings after we had photographed the confetti shot at the church the weather took a very dramatic turn for the worse, as we were driving to Spains Hall, Essex we have never seen the sky go so black and we the experienced thunder, lighting and hail stones we really did think we were going to see a tornado.
But once we arrived at Spains Hall, Essex, the weather turned again for the better with even the sun coming out for us at the right time.
As always Spains Hall, Essex along with Emma and James photographed beautifully and we were able to get all the photographs Emma and James had asked for and they really were a great fun couple to work with.

Our second wedding of the weekend on Sunday was at the stunning Gosfield Hall, Gosfield, Essex. where we photographed Michelle and Ben.
When we arrived at Gosfield Hall, Gosfield, Essex it was actually snowing and we was greeted by a full scale snow ball fight from the guests of the day before wedding.
After dodging the snow balls we met Michelle to photograph her preparations photographs and we knew straight away Michelle was going to be stunning to photograph, even without her wedding dress on she looked stunning Michelle hair looked fantastic.
Well what can we say about Ben and the guys apart from what a fantastic fun bunch of guys and we had lots of fun photographing them.
Thankfully just before the wedding the snow had stopped and the sun did make a very welcome appearance.
So after the wedding ceremony we ventured outside to get some stunning photographs of Michelle and Ben.
We do have to say Michelle and Ben were a joy to work with and Michelle being very good in front of the camera, the camera loved you Michelle.

Pengelly Photography had a very busy weekend photographing weddings on Saturday and Sunday.
Our first of the weekends wedding was on Saturday where we photographed Amanda and Neil who where married
at the Baptist Church, Colchester, Essex and then held there reception at Vauxhall farm, Ipswich, Suffolk.
Once again we had to worry about the good old British weather if we were going to be able to get all the photographs
taken before the heavens opened.
We do have to say that Amanda was fantastic as once again it was very cold and not once did Amanda complain about being cold,
Neil was doing his best to keep his wife warm.
Once at Vauxhall farm we were just able to get all the group photographs taken then the heavens opened.
Thankfully the rain was only with us for a few minutes so we were able to get back outside to photograph Amanda and Neil in the lovely
grounds of Vauxhall farm, Suffolk.

On Saturday we were back a Layer Marney Tower, Colchester, Essex for the wedding of Rebecca and Philip.
Once again we had to contend with the weather as it was very windy and there was always the threat of rain.
We met Philip as he arrived in a very nice red Porsche which was more for Philips son then Philip.
It was very different when photographing the guys as the groom, bestman and ushers are all rock climbers and had
brought along their ropes and ice picks so we was able to do some different photographs.
Rebecca and Philip were married in Layer Marney Tower, Colchester, Essex then went onto Layer Marney Church
for a blessing.
Due to the weather being very unkind to us we had to photograph all the group photographs in the church.
We were only able to get some photographs outside during a 5 min break in the weather so Rebecca and Philip
got the photographs they wanted outside in the end.

On saturday we photographed the wedding of Jennie and Robert who were married at Layer Marney Towers, Colchester, Essex.
Well what a day it was talk about the extremes of weather we had bright sunshine, rain ,snow and wind.
Apart from the weather we had a fantastic time Jennie was a real joy and she had fantastic bridesmaids to support her.
After a few preperations shots of Jennie we then went onto Layer Marney Tower, Colchester, Essex to meet the guys, Robert arrived in a stunning Aston Martin DB7.
The guests then arrived on a red London double decker bus pure heaven for a wedding photographer.
Robert had 2 bestman a bestwoman and 9 ushers so this kept us busy photographing the guys and girl.
After the ceremony we decided to photograph the group shots in the comfort inside Layer Marney Tower, Colchester, Essex.
We then ventured outside with Jennie and Robert, both Sabrina and I have to say what a truly fantastic couple these two were, it was freezing but Jennie and Robert were having the time of their life so photographing them both was a pleasure.

On Sunday afternoon we had the second of our portrait sitting of Toni, Andy their lovely daughter Kianne and Toni's two brothers.
A very relaxed afternoon was had by all with Kianne stealing the show.
Kianne was beautliful showing us her model poses.

We had the pleasure of photographing the lovely Amelia on Sunday morning at our home studio.
Shelly and Dan were married in 2005 and Pengelly Photography photographed their wedding at Prested Hall, Essex.
Amelia was a joy to photograph, she was so full of life and kept Kevin on his toes, she was very relaxed in our studio and Kevin was able to get some fanatstic photographs of Amelia having fun.

A very busy weekend for Pengelly Photography starting on Saturday for the wedding of Rachel and Bruce at the lovely Smeetham Hall Barn, Essex.
The whole day was a very relaxed affair starting with meeting Rachel who was getting ready at Smeetham Hall Barn.
Rachel was ready well ahead of time so we was able to take our time to get some really nice photographs.
Bruce also was early so once again we was able to take our time for getting good photographs.
After the wedding ceromony we only had to photograph 5 group photographs which gave us plenty of time to reportage photograph the rest of the day.
Both Kevin and Sabrina wish Rachel and Bruce a very happy life together.

Kevin Pengelly and Pengelly Photography have won a award for Enviromental Portraiture for the month of Febraury, this award is from the swpp and to acheive this you have to receive a minimum mark of 80 or over.
The photograph was taken of our son at a very cold Walton On The Naze in the school half term break and due to it being so cold we were the only ones on the beach so we could get some fantastic photographs with no one in the background.
This photograph was taken on a wooden jetty and as you will be able to see from the photograph the sky was very dramatic.

Kevin Pengelly, wedding photographer within Pengelly Photography has just been awarded a merit award ( photographs receiving marks of 80 and over) for January in the category of Wedding Contemporary, this is a montly award by the SWPP. Kevin received a mark of 88 and now is entered for the final which takes place January 2008

On Sunday Pengelly photography wedding photographer suffolk and Essex exhibited at the Layer Marney Tower Wedding Fayre, Essex.
Once again this wedding fayre turned out to be very successful and we did get chance to speak to many prospective Brides and Grooms.
As a result of this wedding fayre we have already taken 2 confirmed bookings so thank you to these clients and we will look forward to photographing their weddings next year.

Once again Pengelly Photography had a very busy weekend, it started on Saturday when we photographed a Dance Show rehearsal our daughter and son are appearing in on Saturday and Sunday 1st and 2nd of March at The Ramsey School, Halstead, Essex.

On Sunday we had the pleasure of meeting up with Michelle, Neil and their beautiful daughter Millie.
We photographed Michelle and Neil at Hedingham Castle, Essex and Sywnford Paddocks, Suffolk 3 years ago.
Millie is 10months old and was just fantastic to photograph with Kevin able to entertain Millie making her smile and getting some fantastic photographs.
We look forward to meeting up with Michelle, Neil and Millie again soon for more family photographs.

Pengelly Photography had a busy weekend photography portrait sittings on Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday we met Naomi and Andy who we are photographing at Haughley Park Barn, Suffolk in 2009.
We started in our studio in Sudbury Suffolk, to get some studio photographs.
As we was blessed with beautiful weather we then went on location, going to the old railway track which used to run from Sudbury to Cambridge.
We have to say working with Naomi and Andy was a real joy, it was so relaxed we did mange to get some stunning photographs.
Naomi's comment on the day was she felt like a movie star, as when we was photographing couples who were out for walks stopped to watch us work.
After working with Naomi and Andy we really do look forward to working with them both when we photograph their wedding next year.

On Saturday we photographed the wedding of Louise and Carl, who were married at Whitton Church, Ipswich and then onto the Belstead Brook, Ipswich, Suffolk.
Well what can we say about Louise apart from we have never meet such an enthusiastic Bride when we meet Louise at her Mums and Dads house she was so much fun and nothing was going to stop Louise from enjoying her day.
The photographs we captured were stunning and Louise was a perfect model able to pose as required.
The guys were just great arriving in a very nice Bentley and very much so looking the part themselves.
After some photographs at the Church we then went onto the Belstead Brook where Louise and Carl were just fantastic to work with and we were able to get some fantastic photographs.
Both Kevin and Sabrina really do wish Louise and Carl the very best for the furture.

Well what a weekend with a whole weekend at wedding fayres.
On Saturday we were at Spains Hall, Finchingfield, Essex open day and what a day it turned out to be, over 350 people on Saturday came to see Spains Hall bathed in sunshine and treated to fanatstic hospitallity, we must say well done to all the Spains Hall staff for making us feel so welcome and being so helpful it truly was a stunning day, also on the Sunday at Spains Hall, Finchingfield, Essex a further 500 people visited this fantastic location
We was able to speak to so many couples about our wedding services we provide and hopefully we will look forward to photography their weddings in the future.
On the Sunday we were at Soke By Nayland Hotel, Essex for their wedding fayre and once again we had a very good day speaking to many clients about wedding photography and we do look forward to hearing from them we a few to photography their weddings.

One of the many comments we recievd at both these wedding fayres/open day was the quality of our albums and prints.

Well we had our first wedding of 2008 on Saturday when we photographed Nina and Pauls wedding at Spains Hall, Finchingfield, Essex.
And for our first wedding of the year weather wise it did not get off to a good start, it rained allday, but that did not put anyone off as we still had a great time.
One of the beauties of photographing at Spains Hall it is a venue that has plenty to offer even if it is raining.
We meet Nina at the beautiful Crest Cottage which when you see this cottage it is more in keeping with being situated in Devon.
The inside of the cottage is stunning and we was able to get some stunning photographs of the bridal party.
When we met the guys it had actually stopped raining so we managed to get quite a few shots of the guys outside the fantastic house.
The rest of the day we had to photograph inside as the heavens opened again but because of the locaton we really did mange to get some stunning photographs.
Nina and Paul where fantastic on their wedding day and did not let the weather put them off and the photographs showed their happiness.
Also we must say a thank you to Debbie and Susie for all their help on the day, very professional and it was a joy to work with them.
