Week 7

Ahh summer days and wedding photography in Frinton-On-Sea, Essex.

This wedding brings back so many happy memories for us; we wanted to bring something really typically British into Charlotte and Doug’s story so off we went for a walk along the promenade.

This part of their story was intended to take everyone who looked at it back to their childhood where the sun always shone, the skies were blue and there was nothing to worry about except fish and chips and candyfloss!  We have chosen this image as it really does convey the atmosphere of the day; the colourful beach huts are looking splendid and everyone just overjoyed to see a beautiful bride with her groom.

There were cheers, clapping and plenty of congratulations; people even came running up from the beach to have a look, it was just wonderful.  Charlotte is a beautiful English rose and Doug’s expression is one of pure pride as he shows off his beautiful new Bride. Sabrina and I are now wistfully dreaming of the summer days yet to come…

Week 6

This is a Pengelly signature image; black and white, utilising the background with dramatic skies; we love a bit of drama! It was taken at the beautiful Hylands House Chelmsford Essex with its immaculate grounds that are tended by the acclaimed Writtle college.

As you can see it had been threatening to rain and we wanted to make use of those skies, so Baheeja and Warren, who were brilliant by the way, had a lovely walk with the house in the background.

How about this for timing, as they wandered inside the heavens opened!

We love this image not just because of the drama but it also reminds us of something out of Jane Austen.

Little bit different on Stephanie and Jon’s wedding in the fact that Jon is the son of our very good friends and fellow wedding supplier Jean, Now Jean is the owner of Amazing Cakes By Jean so if you are looking for a wedding cake then Jean is the woman you need to speak too

As Stephanie is American there was a very big American theme with a lovely Mustang car, Stephanie was the most excited Bride we have ever had the pleasure of photographing.

The whole day was just perfect in every way and a very very enjoyable one for us to photograph
